TP150 with LNB.326.jpg

TP150

Manufactured from carbon fiber, aluminum alloys, and performance engineering polymers, the complete system has been designed to perform in the harshest of environments where fast deployments are essential. The Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) antenna is supplied with a high-quality mode-matched feed giving better than 35 dB Xpol performance.

The TP150 antenna system has been designed for and operated by news agencies worldwide. The simple approach and modular construction allows for copious solutions based around our already field-proven flyaway broadcaster antenna systems.

For applications where you need to be ready to cover a news story anywhere in the world, the IATA compliant TP150 flyaway system is the solution for you. With a 1.5M reflector and capacity for up to 400W HPA, the compact size and high EIRP makes the TP150 suitable for both SD/HD applications.

The TP150 can be controlled with either manual input, a 3 axis jog control (ACU100), or the full auto-point controller. (ACU200 - Ipoint)

The ACU200 has integrated GPS and DVB receiver and is fully upgradeable for inclined orbit tracking using either a DVB or beacon receiver

Eight Segment Carbon Fiber Antenna

Our ultra-light carbon fiber antenna is easy to assemble with the Holkirks unique semi-spherical dowel location technology.

Manufactured from carbon fiber material to reduce weight without sacrificing structural integrity.

SAND

All our systems have the option to have sand feet for stability on soft terrain. Stack extra weight on top or bolt/peg to the ground for extra stability

folding feed arm

The folding feed arm is a new design feature for the TP range allows for the LNB and POL drives to be pre-configured and wired for simple connection and reduces the long unsupported cables.

Manual Override

The manual overrides allow the system to be operated even if the auto-pointing system has failed. Meaning you will always be able to transmit regardless of mechanical. failure.

Available with aim assist

The new Antenna Interface Module (AIM) developed by Holkirk assists with the automatic acquisition process. The controller can be used on a range of Holkirk products that are available with auto-pointing capabilities.

AIM was designed to be user friendly, taking users through the acquisition process set by step, showing the user what stage of acquisition the antenna is at using graphics. These graphics will indicate and show at which point through the acquisition process the controller is at and, should there be any issues with acquiring, give advice on how to resolve the issue

AIM is suitable for users with little or lots of training.  The acquisition process can be as easy as a click of a button but AIM also offers the ability for engineers to alter acquisition data as they wish.

AIM is a great asset to have, making acquisitions seamless and easy for everyone. watch our video below for a run-through of how the AIM controller works.

We specifically allocate parts to a particular case to ensure no case exceeds 25Kg. In addition to reducing the chances of injury while lifting, this gives our customers the freedom to fly with their equipment while avoiding costly additional baggage charges.

 Cases

Holkirk provides customers with a rugged way to transport their new products between locations safely.

Holkirks rugged cases are the only choice when it comes to protective cases. Completely waterproof and highly impact-resistant, you can rest assured that your systems have all the protection they need on short or long haul trips.
